The weather in the cloud forest depends on the season. The rainy season lasts from September through May. During this time, it may rain at any time (or not at all), but most often in the afternoon or evening. In any case, raingear is advised. We can supply rubber boots (only up to size 10 ½, alas) for muddy trails, as well ponchos and umbrellas if you need them. Those interested in birds should bring binoculars, of course. We do have some binoculars to borrow.
Remember, it can be cool--perhaps down to 50 F-- in the evening, so bring something warm. We have extra flashlights, but it is a good idea to have one of your own. Please bring shoes or slippers for indoors--no boots allowed!
